    Stream Splitting

TVs are not all the same and each type has a different treatment route. Our staff split TVs into the following categories, LCD, LED, Plasma and CRT.

  • Modern house with wooden exterior, stairs built with stone, and mountain landscape in the background.

    Hazardous Substance Removal

All LCD TVs are sent to our specialist extraction booth where they have their CCFL bulbs removed, As these contain phosphorus and mercury, this must be complete in a specialised area under negative pressure with specialist filtration.

  • Shredding

Decontaminated TVs are sent over to our shredding line to be separated back into their core commodities. TVs are split into steel, plastic, aluminium, copper, cable and circuit boards.
